You Might Be Using A Fake Oraimo product: Here Is How To Check

Oriamo verification

Oraimo has been known for the quality and effectiveness of its products due to these there have been a lot of counterfeit products claiming to be from Oraimo’s brand.

Oraimo products have flooded the markets in Africa, especially Nigeria. Also, Oraimo’s products can be found in E-commerce stores like Jumia and Konga.

The need for quality checks and authentication methods is necessary as Oraimo seems not to like the idea of fake products pulling their name into the mud

If you’ve been following up on my blog posts you would find out that I have reviewed some of Oraimo’s products, I still have some of their product reviews yet to be published on my blog. This is to show you the love I have for them. Also, I wouldn’t want to review products I have not used before.
So far Oraimo’s products have been good.

Enough of talks, in this article I will be showing you how to check if the Oraimo product is authentic or not. This article will help you make the right choice when going to the market. With this authentication method, you don’t need to tear out the pack before checking the product out to know if it is original or not.

How to check for authentication for any Oraimo product

You may need an app to successfully carry out this test. Download any barcode scanner of your choice, if you are using an android smartphone, I recommend this barcode scanner.

1. Check around the body of Oraimo’s product, you will see an (Authentication center) sticker on the body of the product.

How do I know if the Oraimo product passed the validation test?

If Oraimo’s product is authentic you will get a (Validated) message, but if it’s a fake product you will receive a message like (Not validated).

Should you be worried about the number of times Validated?

Another thing you should put your eyes on is the number of times verified. The number of times verified tells you how many times the code has been checked on.

Everything on JUMIA

The number of times validated might look Harmless, but to me, it can cause a lot of problems.

The limit of authentication checks hasn’t been announced by Oraimo, but to me, if you get more than two times (Verified) you should be worried why?
From the look of things, the verification code of a validated Oraimo’S product can be used all over again. This means if you buy an original Oraimo product and you threw away the pack either scratched or unscratched other bad eggs can still use the code in manufacturing a fake Oraimo product. So how do you escape this?

How many times should the Oraimo product be verified?

As I said earlier Oraimo is yet to say something about this, but for me, if a product has been verified more than (2) times this should be a warning or sign of a fake product.

The first verification process might be done by Oraimo officials while the second verification should be done by you. I don’t see any reason a product should be verified more than two times, anything more than that should be a warning.

Conclusion

Oraimo is a popular brand in Africa, they’ve really done a lot in terms of technology. In other to keep to the quality of their products Oraimo needed to introduce the authentication process. This is to eliminate fake products from the surface of the earth.
Authentication stickers are been pasted on the pack of all Oraimo’s products, so as to enable easy access to the authentication Code.

Tell me, have you ever gotten an error like (Not validated)? if so, tell us where you purchased Oraimo’s product and your experience so far.

  1. I purchased a 5C BATTERY (1150 mAh) at local shop in poor village (somewhere in RWANDA) So i verified a code, and result was saying”this code verified more than 3 times, not veridated”

    1. Hi Emma,
Not validated means not legally valid. For it to must have been verified more than 3 times sounds suspicious. This is because codes from previous batteries or devices might be used over and over again by a fake manufacturer.
So far, how is the battery performance?
