Getting to test new phones is always my hubby as you all know, today we will be checking out Tecno spark go 2020, model KE5 which was released late last year 2020. I got my hands on the Tecno spark go 2020 last two weeks, I have been seeing and hearing different reviews and information about it so, I decided to order one for myself. Today we will be looking at the good and the bad side and, round review of the Tecno model KE, thee spark go 2020 edition.

Tecno spark go 2020 KE5 Review
Design and display
The Tecno spark Go 2020 was designed with plastic material. At the middle top of the screen is an 8mp front selfie camera, also, at the top of the spark go is a headphone jack, USB port, and a mic which is used for videoing. At the back top of the left-hand side is a 13mp rear camera with an assistant rear camera and a vivid large flashlight at the middle of the two cameras.
In the middle close to the camera layout is its fingerprint scanner, while at the down left is the loudspeaker. The front of spark go is eye-catchy as it is bright and everything is well placed but the back looks like a toy to me, for me the back looks dull. On the right side of the phone is its power button and volume button. The spark go comes with a beautiful screen resolution of 720×1600 which is higher than that of Tecno pop4.
Camera
The Tecno spark Go 2020 KE5 comes with an 8mp front-facing camera and also a 13mp rear camera. Let’s start with the 8mp front-facing camera, I am yet to figure out if the Tecno spark Go 2020 camera is better than that of the pop 4, as both cameras are poor even with the 8mega pixel front camera boast. I took a picture in an area with less light and the picture wasn’t that good, though pictures taking in an area where there is enough light appear to be better than the other. The back camera wasn’t that impressive neither as the picture wasn’t clear enough even with an assistant camera. Pictures samples can be seen below.
Hardware and software
Like I said earlier the spark go 2020 comes with a Quad 1.8 GHz MTK processor and a Mediatek MT6761D Helio A20 chipset. It is also supported with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Mind you the spark go 2020 is not a gaming smartphone but can run some tasks and can also play PUBG lite version. Spark Go also comes with a 2GB ram 32GB large Rom. When it comes to the software’s the spark go was built for lite users as it comes with android go preinstalled in it to make things easier. Also, google apps are on Go versions to maintain stability and a good user experience.
Battery and network
Spark go 2020 KE5 comes with a huge 5000mah battery, waw amazing I guess this is the selling point of this smartphone. The spark Go 2020 will last a day on medium usage but if you are a heavy user you might need to charge it again before the day runs out. what if I only make and receive calls? Be sure of 5days juice. The spark Go 2020 supports 4g 3g 2g internet service for fast browsing.

What I like about Tecno spark go 2020
4G service: I thought this will be left out like the way they did in Tecno pop 4 but I was surprised to see the 4g service option although no thanks 5g is out already we aren’t going backward like the pop 4.
Beautiful display: everything about the display is lovable including the 720×1600 screen resolution.
Large space: I know to some people 32GB is nothing but to me anything above 20GB is large, there is also a space for an SD card.
What I dislike about Tecno spark go 2020
Bad camera: I just don’t get this part, the 8mp doesn’t look like the 8mp the 13mp too. Common guys Tecno need to do something about this look at Qubo p6 or m8 camera the difference is clear. Tecno used the same format with the pop4 ugly camera.
Bad back design: Looks good in the picture but not too good in real life. Seriously I don’t want to ever come in contact with this design ever again. There is wasted space at the bottom where the mouthpiece is why not put the speaker there you guys are taking us back to Tecno s3 and m3. Even if you want to put a speaker down there why always that pattern.
Pocket killer: judging from its specs and features the price is a little bit high for it.
