A cooler PC is what everyone is looking for, but due to heavy apps and games, your laptop might run slow, get hot, or your battery starts wearing out quickly. Four months ago I was in search of a good laptop cooler I saw different laptop coolers. A cooling pad is a no-go area for me because it’s way too big. Also, I can’t withstand the stress of carrying it everywhere.
Finally, I saw something on Jumia that caught my eyes which was “cool cold laptop vacuum cooler” it was the cheapest, and I also saw some Youtube videos about it. I wanted to get a test of it and also write a review about it. I placed an order for it, it took about three weeks for Jumia to deliver my order which was a little bit faster than other orders I placed from abroad through them.

My first impression on cool cold vacuum cooler
It is way bigger than I expected. The cool cold vacuum cooler is 12.3cm in length (8.2 cm) breadth, and (4 cm) in height. It has a box shape and a bit rugged in design that makes it look more like gaming system hardware. The plastic build is not that thick I couldn’t get the weight of it but, it’s not heavy and also can be easily moved from one place to another without feeling the pressure.
I ran a few tests on it, cool cold vacuum cooler makes a little noise when you tune it to the highest point. Also, I checked out the degree of hotness been lost and gained. I downloaded core temperature for windows, I decided to run one of my games far cry 3. I got 70-degree centigrade on core #0 and 75 degrees centigrade on core #1 which was a little bit high. After attaching the cool cold vacuum cooler after some minutes I got 54 degrees centigrade on core #0 and in core #1 60 degrees centigrade. I lost 16-degree centigrade in core #0 and in core #1 I lost 15-degree centigrade. This means it is working, and I could play more and also not put my battery health at risk.
Design / Body
Cool cold laptop vacuum cooler comes with a box shape, with designs that made it look rugged. At the top left-hand side is a tuner which is used to increase fan speed, the tuner also acts as the on and off switch. At the top is the inhaler, this is where the air is sucked out from the pc, and at the bottom is where the exhaust is, this is where the hot air that is gotten from the Pc is pushed out. - Fix your vacuum rubber ( there are three vacuum rubbers inside your cool cold vacuum cooler pack, choose the right one that fits your laptop then attach it).
- Fix the plastic that is meant to hold your laptop with the vacuum cooler.
- Plug-in your USB power cord to the laptop and vacuum cooler.

What I like about cold cool vacuum cooler

MOBILE-FRIENDLY: The fact that I could easily move it anywhere and anytime I wanted to, gives me that green light.
ADJUSTABLE SPEED: I can choose and adjust the speed of the cold cool vacuum cooler with the tuner at the top left.

CHEAP: It’s so affordable and pocket-friendly I got this vacuum cooler for 2,500 Nigerian nairas that should be around $7 shipping plus a shipping fee of 5,636 Nigerian nairas. And also the price does not affect the build quality, it’s just fair.
What I don’t like about the cold cool vacuum cooler
BAD GRIP DESIGN: Before going for the cold cool vacuum cooler I have always thought about this and finally my fears came to reality. The cold cool vacuum cooler will find it hard to stay intact with your laptop if you have a laptop with a little bit of battery body push up like the dell latitude 3330 which I am using.
HEIGHT: The cold cool vacuum cooler is 4cm in height ( a little bit of error from tape is allowed ) it is quite large, although I am yet to see a flatter one, I will love a flatter one.
Vacuum coolers and cooling pads which is better?
For those who don’t know, vacuum coolers are usually attached to laptops from the side, depending on where your laptop flushes out air from. some laptop comes with no vent or space to push out air while some are located under. If you fall under these categories then vacuum coolers won’t work for you as it is only possible to attach from the side of your laptop. while cooling pads are usually large, they are placed under laptops and not mobile-friendly like vacuum coolers.
Vacuum coolers and cooling pads have their ups and downs, I was checking out some reviews on “vacuum coolers versus cooling pads”. Different people air out their thoughts and opinion, some people went for vacuum coolers while some cooling pads. Like I said earlier vacuum coolers and cooling pads have their ups and downs which I will vividly explain below.
The Good and bad side about cooling pads
The good side
A cooling pad is very nice if you ain’t the mobile type or, maybe you do use your laptop mostly in the office.
The bad side
The bad side about cooling pads is most cooling pads come with two or more fans and as that they do consume more energy than vacuum cleaners.
As most cooling pads come with two or more fans, one or more might be useless how? most laptops come with one vent area which is usually found under the computer or by the side. The vent space under do receive air from beneath with the aid of the fan and then push it in and out of the laptop.
let’s assume you have only one vent space under which is located at the left and also one space to push air out. Now when you put your laptop on top of a cooling pad the fan at the left does the job while the right side does little or nothing to your laptop.
Cooling pads are not mobile-friendly, do you have friends who make use of cooling pads? check them out they usually leave it at home, office, or place of work. The stress of carrying it every time you carry your laptop is a killer. If you do carry yours along men, you are a hero.
The good and bad side of vacuum coolers
The good side
They are mobile-friendly, I do carry mine to school, work I mean almost everywhere, and not like cooling pads that are mostly large.
They are good suckers, vacuum coolers help the fan responsible to take the air out from your laptop, not like cooling pads that take little air out from the laptop.
Vacuum coolers also use less juice (energy) than cooling pads. This means you save more energy and time.
The bad side
Some vacuum coolers don’t have a good grip and so they fall off when you carry up your laptop.
